AudioActive have been co-curating the artist residency of Ollie Finn at Fabrica Gallery Brighton. Throughout July and August 2011 Ollie will be delivering fun and exciting ‘Sound technology’ workshops in response to Stephane Cauchys’ kinetic installation, ‘Cascade’ showing throughout July and August.
The first workshop will take place on Wednesday the 20th of July between 7-9pm. Ollie will support participants using Ableton Live software to create responsive pieces of work using the sounds and reactions generated by the installation. Two more workshops will take place on the 3rd and 17th of August, exploring how a virtual audience and other musical communities can respond and take part in the residency via ‘Ustream’
